Cucuy FC - Centro America 1:0 (1:0)
It didn't feel like spring just yet but it was a pretty good game anyway. Andrew scored the goal of the day after a trademark throw-in from CNate. We should have scored at least 2 more than that, but we also got lucky right before halftime when Centro America had a wide open shot that hit our post. Second half Karol had a laser beam shot that hit the crossbar and bounced behind the line but was disallowed by the ref, verdammte Scheisse. Towards the end, I think we ran a bit out of steam and Centro pushed us back. (If we only had subs!) Thanks to keeper Sean and our defense we held them at 1:0. Btw Sean, you know about that 6-second keeper rule right? MVP goes to Birke who had a great game and seems to be fully recovered. And Cary, welcome back!
