Jolly Good Start into the Season

A couple of guys showed up late so we started short. Kyle didn't  make it, so CNate "volunteered" for keeper. Within 20 minutes or so we had a full squad, but until then we had a few close calls, but CNate did a real good job and kept us out of trouble.  All three goals in first half were really cool, first Patrick, who volleyed a cross half-sideways over the head of the keeper.  Then Andrew got the ball in our half and just took off with it, shaking two or three defenders, and crossing it into the middle. There it fell pretty much on Javier's foot, who cracked the living fun out of it, leaving the keeper no chance to react. Second half Javier got his second, sealing the deal for us for a nice start into the season.
