Bulverde - Cucuy FC 1:2 (0:1)
We played Bulverde on the same, somewhat worn dirt field with intermittent green patches we played on last week. Ben and Andrew had a couple of good chances but could not get past Bulverde's keeper. CNate had a nice shot but barely missed. Kind of ironic that it was an own goal that put us ahead at half-time. Second half Bulverde picked up the pace and chances were more even on both sides. Bulverde scored on a counter-attack and run through midfield. In the end, Todd put us ahead pushing the ball over the line after a shot from Karol that the keeper could not hold on to. We should have definitely won higher but I guess a win is a win. I really hope we're going to play on a better field next Sunday.
